Five things that disappear just when you need them.....

Tagged by Kiran and here goes without any further ado the five things that I am forever looking for :)

1. My glasses. Rarely wear them when at home and always forget where I left them last. Once I found them only when I sat on them.

2. My keys in my purse. Its a mini heart attack I get, when I start hunting for my kyes..could be car keys or the house keys. They just get lost in there.

3. My mobile. Its on silent most of the time at home, cause when it rings, my kiddo by default has to pick it up or its hell to pay. I actually have many times, called my number and then strained my ear to hear the beep, just to figure out its hiding space.

4. Imp. yea yea my kiddo. never wants to drink her water.. doesn't want to stay indoors..even in this blazing heat. Call out to her and I don't get a reply. have started locking the gate thanks to her..

5. Stationary. You name it, pen, eraser, marker, stapler, cellophane tape..all have their own place..but with a kid who loves to cut, tape and write, can never seem to find one, just when I need it.

And I pass this tag too whoever is interested in taking it up. Just let me know :)

The Adventurous One..

The whole neighborhood knows our dogs and
keep an eye for them. They are friendly and never attack unless provoked, so can be left to wander about on their own for a few minutes and they always find their way back. There have been days when complete strangers have come knocking to tell us that our dogs have wandered far away and somebody should go get them, before they are dog-napped. They are the star attraction, though our immediate neighbors will have a different POV due to their(his) loud and constant barking. Every person walking by or standing in front of the gate is greeted this way.

The notorious one

Forever up to mischief, forever hungry, can eat any thing and foreve
r barking! Once he took Imp's stuffed toy into his dog house and refused to come out! Last week one day he suddenly decided to not come back home after his regular walk post lunch. We decided to wait till evening to go look for him. Our help, who whenever around, always takes them out personally after lunch was very guilty...since this happened on his watch. So he takes the other one and goes looking. And cant find him. Takes the other one too and heads out. Still no clue. Dad is not too worried, mum however is a different case altogether. And Imp asking for him all the time. Mum's sure he has either met with an accident somewhere or somebody's walked off with him. She strongly suspected our immediate sour neighbor. Our other dog is acting very weird. Standing at the gate and barking away, peeing through the opening and barking... Open the gate and he looks left and right and barks away. Every time, he barks we're checking outside and finally our man decides to come back home. Why? Its dinner time! And his punishment, poor guy had to go hungry for not coming back home on time. Nobody messes with mum when she is sooo upset.

The silent brooding one

Obedient, Quiet and unruffled... till the notorious one came into picture. Then we saw his naughty side. Both of them together are a riot. Always chewing whatever they can sink their teeth into... looking at both of them, one would think they are not fed at home, at all. One fine day he too decided to not come back home after his lunch walk. For some vague reason he decided to follow one of the teens who was walking out of a nearby bank. Accompany him till his shop, and decides to snooze under the shade there. It was a hot sunny aft, and the kid had given him a bowl of water and food too. small mercies he did not eat anything, just had water and slept. The boy along with his friends dropped him off home in the evening. The boys were totally thrilled and excited, that they had the company of our dog for one whole afternoon and that he was so well behaved!

These very group of kids keep a look out for our dogs, always checking in on them and appraising us if they have wandered far away.

Blessed.. Aren't they?

Wear your Attitude

The clothes available for girls is way too cute, just couldn't resist picking tees with these lines on them for Imp

Stupid or a true potrait??

Sooo, If you're on FB chances are you have come across the various quizzes that all your friends take.. You click on one and you are addicted... Its stupid, funny and total and complete time pass...here are some I took just for the fun of it...

So I'm Middle of the Road Kind of Gal, when it comes to the kind of mum I am!

You're really the most ideal kind of mom to have- You're not too strict, you're not too loose. The kids know how to have fun at a playdate, and you're not ripping out your hair worrying all of the time about airborn germs and fingerprints. You keep your kids clean and well maintained yet they have fun getting dirty too. You keep your house picked up, but you don't have a home air purifier system and sanitizing wipes stashed in every nook and cranny. Your kids play well with others because they have manners but they're also relaxed enough to make friends. Good for you!

And the theme song of my life is "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield, never mind that I have yet to hear this song :P

You Are Rain

You are dark and dramatic. You tend to be a bit over the top.

You have strong emotions and they can change quickly. You are tempestuous.

You are wild and unpredictable. You tend to
overwhelm and surprise people.

While you are aggressive, you are also a homebody. You don't really care for physical activities.

You Are a Crossword Puzzle

You are well read, and you have a good head for remembering facts.

You are a wordsmith. You have a way with words, and you're very literate.

You are a mysterious person who enjoys dropping little clues every now and then.

New Age Bra's...?

As if the wonder bra wasn't enough we now have these... when I first read this, I actually had to check the date to see, if it were an April Fools Joke. Sadly it wasn't. Lingerie label Lisca have developed a Smart Memory Bra with heat sensitive foam which works out when you get all hot and bothered.

Apparently the bra reacts to changes in body temperature, supposedly du
e to sexual arousal and changes shape to push the breasts together, making them look bigger. When your body temp drops, so do the boobs and the bra adjusts cleavage accordingly.

Is it so hard to understand that body temperature does not rise only due to arousal?

Here's another bizarre one.. A Husband Hunting Bra specially created for Japan's singles market. The bra features a self set timer: "First you decide your target time or deadline until marriage and the countdown clock will start. Once you find your life partner and get engaged, you have to insert the engagement ring into the slot and the clock stops and The Wedding March begins."

Imagine wearing a ticking clock! How innovative and absolutely comfortable and of course
not psycho at all. This is Triumph keeping abreast of Japan's singles market by making a specially-designed bra for women whose biological clocks are ticking.

Some companies have way too much time and money on their hands.

VerveEarth!

Received this email from the CEO of a new startup a few days back, was tempted to let it go as SPAM but curiosity got the better of me.

Your blog
Life Evolves caught our attention. I'm the founder of a recently launched startup for bloggers. We are searching the internet for the world's best blogs by geography, and we found yours for Bangalore. I would like to invite you to our site which plots the content of the internet on an interactive map of the world. VerveEarth is an entirely new way to surf the net. It shows spatial and geographic connections that a blog search engine could never reveal.

The site is www.VerveEarth.com. Once on board, you can easily claim your blog a place in the VerveEarth world. The site is free to use and a way to drive new traffic to your blog. If our vision resonates with you, please give us a mention or add our widget to your blog. Please see our FAQ for any questions, and we welcome your feedback. The VerveEarth team will make a timely reply.

www.VerveEarth.com
Kind Regards,
Clayton
CEO | VerveEarth.com
Email | clayton@verveearth.com,

First of all, thanks to Verve Earth CEO Clayton, even though I do not believe mine is the best blogs by geography.. in Bangalore. This was just an invitation mail, a clever(really?) one to get bloggers to sign up. I dislike the fact that they used the best blog line, somewhere somebody will be offended if all the blogs fall in that category.

Yet I signed up! I like the concept, you can search for blogs from a particular country, state. Sorta like Blog listing on Google Maps. Its still in BETA, lets see how it grows. So my minuscule readers, go ahead and sign up if you would like to and discover or be discovered!

P.s incase you are wondering, my blog used to be called Life Evolves, found it to be too depressing a name to blog about my kiddo and of course my focus has changed, though I got to add more posts about my kiddo :) will soon....

What Mythological Creature are you?

What Mythological Creature are you?
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as Angel

Angel: Angels are the guardians of all things, from the smallest ant to the tallest tree. They give inspiration, love, hope, and positive emotion. They live among humans without being seen. They are the good in all things, and if you feel alone, don't fear. They are always watching. Often times they merely stand by, whispering into the ears of those who feel lost. They would love nothing more then to reveal themselves, but in today's society, this would bring havoc and many unneeded questions. Give thanks to all things beautiful, for you are an Angel.
